Brian Walsh

Brian Walsh joined Avantax in 2017, focusing on enterprise-wide strategy, and has held various leadership roles across multiple functions at Avantax Wealth Management^® and Avantax Planning Partners^SM. Currently, he is focused on ensuring the development and execution of firm-wide strategy.

He is a problem solver, change agent, strategist, and business leader with more than 25 years of experience in identifying, developing, and executing solutions to complex problems.

Prior to Avantax, Brian was a Vice President at Fidelity in its internal consulting group, supporting its business units across all of its locations. Prior to Fidelity, he practiced law in in New York City, focusing on litigation.

Brian holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, a JD from Cornell Law School and a BA from Bates College.
