Irving, Texas (May 10, 2008) – H.D. Vest Financial Services, one of the oldest and largest independent financial services firms specializing in training tax professionals, will host its 22nd annual National Conference at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Resort and Casino, beginning June 10. The four-day conference will feature more than 75 educational sessions, including breakout sessions, the second annual Advisor Keynote Speaker competition, general sessions and hands-on technology training in the new Technology Theater as well as exhibits and special events to celebrate H.D. Vest’s 25th anniversary.

“In today’s economic environment, many clients are looking to their H.D. Vest Advisor for advice,” said Roger Ochs, H.D. Vest president. “It’s a great time to learn about the latest investment solutions, learn how to use our newest technology, and network with other advisors and solution providers.”

The conference will feature many expert speakers on topics such as retirement planning, estate planning, practice management, insurance solutions and technology. General session speakers include Simple Wealth, Inevitable Wealth author Nick Murray, wealth management specialist Steve Gresham, estate planning attorney Sally Mulhern, organizational and time management expert Julie Morgenstern, and motivational speaker Steve Farber.  

H.D. Vest celebrates its 25th anniversary as a firm this year. Many events during the conference will commemorate the firm’s 25-year history including a welcome reception and Back to the ’80s party for all attendees. This conference will also highlight many of the new technology initiatives launching to support the firm’s Paperless Office initiative such as Remote Capture and the rollout of the 8 Wealth Management Issues^SM process to all Advisors.
